Happy World Water Day!
This year’s topic is “Groundwater – Making the Invisible Visible”.
In conjunction with World Water Day, the United Nations World Water Development Report has been launched (available here). The report provides decision-makers with knowledge and tools to formulate and implement sustainable water policies. It also offers best practices and in-depth analyses to stimulate ideas and actions for better stewardship in the water sector and beyond.
Moreover, within the context of the 9th World Water Forum that is being held in Dakar, Senegal, several groundwater-related events are being organised:
- 21 March, 11:15-11:45 (GMT): Launch of the UN World Water Development Report “Groundwater: Making the invisible visible” at 9th World Water Forum Opening Ceremony.
